![]() I'm waiting for this.I want it very badly, so I can take a break from the other tank game. (I know, I know, WoT allows for shooting over slight hills with 105mm etc aswell, but it's REALLY dodgy, since everything is set around pointing the reticule at the ground (leading target) or point directly at it, or you will just shoot 5m over the target because it compensates for aiming way beyond the borders). is a thing you already have to deal with in this game, even in arcade, just aiming in the circle doesn't cut it sometimes, so I don't think they'll scrap that for army. My guess is, that at least in some mode, you will be able to aim everything by yourself, so you can shoot over slight hills with your howitzer or fire it 45° in the air to give some supressing fire 2,5km away. No one knows how it will be and everybody is wondering but I certainly hope, that we have to aim and compensate for bulletdrop on our own and not have a silly jumping crosshair messing up my shots. :kamikadze:Īnybody else anxiously waiting for the ground portion?ĮDIT: Ah, saw some artillery units included in the fan made tank trees! I wonder how that will work or if it will be implemented! ![]() I'm most excited for the anti-aircraft vehicles.Īlso, T-34 ramming attacks. I really hope we get some information soon! Targeting systems, ammunition, anything! I know that the only tank trees out there are fan made. ![]() I'm guessing either no or it will be extremely hard due to needing spotters, so whatever.ĭoes anyone have any information on how the ground portion of this game will work? I was wondering though, will shells be able to be fired indirectly by certain vehicles, considering the terrain of course? I saw the "Artillery" units from the air shooting at things, but they have line of sight due to their placement it seems.įor example, can I sit in an ISU-152 and shell things to my heart's desire? I'm quite excited for the release of the army portion of this game (whenever that will be). ![]()
